LA Vs. WAR II was an extended exhibition sequel for art activists promoting unity and education on issues of war, peace and social justice. The show promoted creative expressions from artists that inspire spirits and awaken minds. LA Vs. War uses the power of art as the very means of mobilizing communities to bring about true change. LA Vs. WAR II commemorated the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Showcasing a much larger pool of multi-media artists in 2011, whose art addresses a broader range of civic issues, the exhibition included and offered teach-ins, youth workshops, laser graffiti, music, performance art, live graffiti and a 36-minute film series, to the public for free. The show was produced and organized by Estée Ochoa & John Carr. It took place from September 9 – 11, 2011 at The Vortex in Downtown Los Angeles.
